SRA HISTORY:

The Sooner Republican Assembly began in December 2005. It was instigated by conservatives within the Republican Party of Cleveland County, who met with OKRA President Tim Pope and NFRA President Richard Engle in Moore to organize the SRA.

Bylaws were adopted and the SRA was created as a haven for conservative Republicans in the countyand beyondwhere they could join together and present a united front for combating liberalism within the party and outside.

We meet on the 2nd Thursday of every month at Earls Rib Palace, 900 SW 25th, Moore, Ok at 6:00p in the meeting room

The Sooner Republican Assembly, while a Republican organization comprised of Republican voters and working toward Republican ideals, is not formally affiliated with the Republican Party of Cleveland County, the Oklahoma Republican Party, or the Republican National Committee. It is, however, a member of the Oklahoma Republican Assembly and the National Federation of Republican Assemblies.
